The discussion in class was very interesting . Some  people  were for SB 1070 and others were against it. There were a lot good points coming from both sides. It’s a given that people come to this country illegally to make a better life for themselves.  other’s say that it’s a crime to come into this country illegally . I think after this discussion that I’m on both sides  of SB1070. I don’t think its wrong that innocent immigrants are being deported but yet I also think that its crime to come into this country illegally.

           On Aug. 26 former U.S. customs officer Martha Alicia Garnica was sentenced to 20 years in a ferderal prison. she was charded for corruption, smuggling marijuana and undocumented immigrants into the U.S. At one point she attempted to bribe some of her co-workers.

on saterday at the us border in el paso taxas a gun battle broke out between the mexican  federal police and drug traffikers in juarez, mexico. 3 officers were injured and one drug traffiker dead.
